A whole month!?

Has it really been A WHOLE MONTH since I last posted?  Oops, sorry about that kids.  We have had nothing going on and everything going on at once. 
So in the month of July:
-the 4Runner has been in the shop for almost three weeks (yep, you read that right)
-we went on a little getaway to the Bay
-we just about finished prepping our yard to grow grass
-I bought my first object for my first "diy" makeover
-we no longer have a hole in the ceiling, we have drywall up, but it's not finished.  I'm hoping for a 2012 completion on that project
-yep, not much else

Work has been pretty busy for me.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working for The Martin Agency, but Walmart as a whole sucks.  Their communication, decisions, and overall attitude makes for a stressful day.  They did do something pretty cool for us, though - some Wally World executives came to visit on Monday and bought lunch for the whole company.  Not only did they provide the lunch, the execs SERVED IT TO US TOO!  I thought that was pretty neat.  It's kind of like they realize how disfunctional they are, and appreciate everybody's hard work.  Made for a good day.
So, what's going on with the 4Runner you ask?  Well, we've been having some issues with some "sensors" for a while now, which turned into a cracked exhaust manifold (roughly $2k for the part alone), which turned into an issue with the car's computer (roughly $3k for the part alone), and three weeks later we think it's all fixed!  Keep your fingers crossed.  Oh, but don't fret, everything was covered under a warranty, so we didn't pay too much out of pocket.
Oddly enough, we are extremely boring and busy at the same time.  Welcome to the real world!
