So every day, the guest room comes together better and better. Last weekend, I went shopping for some odds and ends. My mom and I discovered two fabulous new gems - Hobby Lobby and Homegoods. Hobby Lobby is basically a HUGE Michael's with tons of fun decorations and crafts. Homegoods is filled with all of the "homestore" things that Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Ross have, but it's huge. I splurged on a beautiful lamp, picked up some frames, and the perfect pillow
This morning, we hung the curtains, and I'm in love
It is a dreary day, so it is hard to really see them. They are black (obviously), but have beautiful black damask detailing. Just perfect! I am so thrilled with how things are turning out.
My wish list of things to still get are: the perfect nightstand, a small dresser, iron headboard, and more pillows. My to-do list consists of: hanging shelves, the few pictures I've accumulated, and organizing all my scrapbook things. I can't wait to get it all finished and have some guests :)
