Busy Day, again

Remember that post when I supposedly had a busy day?  Boy was I wrong.  We have been so swamped with caring for family, that we haven't had time to breathe!  I apologize for being MIA.  Robin, this one's for you.
First and foremost, Happy Groundhog's Day.  According to my groundhog-expert brother-in-law, Phil saw his shadow and spring will be coming EARLY.  Phil, I hope you are right.
And now to bore you.. Daniel and I have barely seen each other, our schedules just seem to clash.  It's funny that we've been craving for him to have a job with "normal" hours, and now that we have it, we can't seem to get together! Oh well, such is life.  I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I have a double ear infection - ouch!  I'm taking some horribly strong antibiotics.  I guess the idea is to make you stop worrying about your ears and think about your stomach!  Poor thing, always gets the brunt of it all.  I also had an interview with The Martin Agency yesterday.  I think it went alright, they are slow-moving, so we will just cross our fingers.  I have been talking with them since July, and came in for a second interview yesterday for a position that might be open.  My contact there told me that not many individuals make it to this point, so I'm thankful for that.
In other breaking news, our newest addition to the fish tank, Jafar, has passed on to the other side.  Daniel has neglected to update you since he has come into our home, but I assure you he was UGLY, SCARY, and he haunted me in my dreams.  We will have a serious discussion before another Jafar is allowed into this place.
Umm, I think that's about it.  We are pretty boring.

"I always forget to tell you, I love you
I've loved you from the very first day"

  1. Wasn't Jafar a scary, bad guy in some Disney movie? Refresh my memory? How about a sweet, pretty, girly fish next time with a name like Jasmine or Jesabelle?

  2. Dearest Robin,
Aren't you clever?? Jafar is the VILLAIN in Alladin! Your childhood memory serves you well. There are so many sweet, pretty, girly fishes that I would LOVE to bring home, but for some strange reason, Daniel only likes the fish that eat baby goldfish. It's disgusting. We will allow you to name our next fish, because those names are pretty awesome
    Love,
    Kim

  3. Congrats on the second interview - remember that you aren't "many individuals" :) I am so glad you followed orders and started a blog!
