Friday
So I decided to leave Daniel on his own so I could make my way for my first trip to visit Sarah and Susan in DC. I left after work on Friday, and after a bit of congestion in Richmond, finally arrived around 7:30. They live in Arlington, and walk pretty much everywhere. After a period of indecisiveness, we decided on a local Italian restaurant (Faccia Luna - so good!). I found some delicious wine, and Suzie and I shared a pizza. Sarah was womp womp and had a sandwich. We stayed up late (for me, at least) catching up on our huge laundry list of people and things. Sarah was in quite an unusual mood, and we spent the majority of the time laughing at her derangement. She even went so far as to scratch the insides of my eyes! So weird. It was then that I decided it was best to sleep with Susan, pretty much out of the pure fact that my safety was in question. All in all, it was such a fun preview to a fabulous weekend!
