Black and Yellow

.. not the song this time!  So, I've recently decided I want my own little space in our house.  Daniel has his man cave, so I am going to create my own relaxing oasis.  We currently have 3 extra bedrooms: Daniel's man cave, excercise room, and guest room.  Since I can't really give any of those up, I'm creating a space for me in the guest room.  I love to scrapbook and do crafts, so my space will have that kind of area.  I love the "damask" print:


so I decided to accent with this print throughout my room.  I went paint-shopping with Robin, and picked out some very neutral grey-bluish-greenish colors.  I tried two of them and hated both.  So, I've decided on yellow!  I think it will make a gorgeous room.  I love these:






Obviously, we aren't having a baby anytime soon, but you get the idea!  I think it is a little bit classier than pink or red.  And, I think yellow can brighten up any mood!  I hope it fosters creative thinking in my little alcove.  The painting shenanigans begin this weekend.. I will hopefully show the progress :)
